AMA sets up Revenue Task Force to visit organisations

Accra June 9, GNA - The Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) has set up a Revenue Mobilisation Task Force that would visit businesses, property owners and government institutions to reconcile bills and collect rates from June 13.

A statement in Accra from the Public Affairs Unit of the AMA asked anyone encountering problems with bills to contact the Metro Director of Budget for settlement.

It said entities were expected to make receipts of payment available and also make payments to the taskforce members and urged rate payers to support the exercise to enable the assembly to carry out its duties.
