AMA to organise clean up

Accra, Nov. 18, GNA - The Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) would organise a clean-up exercise in the metropolis on Saturday, November 27 as part of its continuous campaign to rid the city of garbage and filth.

A statement issued by AMA on Thursday said the various sub-metropolitan offices would coordinate the exercise.

AMA appealed to residents, companies, government departments, shop owners, traders, workers and religious organisations to help make the exercise a success.

AMA said the Assembly through the sub-metro offices would provide tools and other equipment.
