The Member of Parliament for Ablekuma North, Ewurabena Aubynn, has extended a Christmas goodwill gesture to residents of the constituency, donating assorted food items to support vulnerable households during the festive season.
The donation, made as part of activities marking the Christmas celebration, included bags of rice, cooking oil, tins of fish, milk, Milo, sugar and other essential food items.
Beneficiaries of the MPs benevolence included widows, persons with disabilities (PWDs), orphans, the elderly, low-income families and general constituents.
Presenting the items, Madam Aubynn said the gesture was aimed at sharing in the joy of the season and easing with families during the Christmas period.

They commended the MP for remaining accessible and responsive to their needs beyond her legislative responsibilities.
The Christmas donation comes shortly after Madam Aubynn launched the Ablekuma North Sports Union (ANSU), an initiative designed to identify, develop and nurture sporting talents within the constituency.
The sports union is expected to provide structured platforms for young people to engage in sports, while promoting discipline, teamwork and healthy lifestyles.
