The Aboso glass factory, near Tarkwa in the Western region, is now producing at between 85-90 per cent capacity with 250 workers running three shifts. Mr Thomas Bio, assistant personnel officer of the factory, told newsmen. Mr Bio told them that the factory, is the only one in the country, which produces white, green and amber bottles of various sizes. He said there was no waste at the factory because discarded materials are used again after mixing them with special sand mined at Bogoso in the region.
