As the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) goes to the polls today, Saturday April 21 to elect their Regional executives, the communication team members of Abuakwa South constituency are advising the aspirants in the various regions to accept the outcome when results are declared.
In a press statement copied to GhanaWeb, the communication team indicated that the elections are in line with Article 7 of the party’s constitution.
They, however, pleaded with aspirants who will come out victorious to “be measured in their jubilation and consider the victory as one for the NPP and not for any individual as the most important victory awaits the party in the 2020 general elections.”
“Let all of us work together to ensure that the party becomes stronger than it is after the elections”, the statement said.

ABUAKWA SOUTH NPP COMMUNICATION TEAM WISHES ALL REGIONAL ASPIRANTS GOODLUCK
On Saturday, 21st April, 2018, Article 7 of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Constitution stands being fulfilled.
As the NPP go to the polls to elect their leaders across the regions, we wish all aspirants good luck.
We, however, wish to admonish every aspirant in the contest to accept the results after declaration.
Also, we wish to implore all those who would emerge victorious to be measured in their jubilation and consider the victory as one for the NPP and not for any individual as the most important victory awaits the party in the 2020 general elections.
Let all of us work together to ensure that the party becomes stronger than it is after the elections.
