Accra Diocese of Anglican Church to hold three-day crusade

The Accra Diocese of the Anglican Church in collaboration with the World Miracle Outreach (WMO) will be holding a three-day crusade at the Black Star Square from May 15-17.

This was made known by Dr Lawrence Tetteh, President and Founder of WMO at a news conference in Accra on Tuesday.

He said the crusade seeks to bring together Christians from other denominations to praise, worship and bear witness to the works of Jesus Christ.

He said Ghanaians have the unique privilege of not experiencing the political turbulence that have rocked countries in the West Africa sub-region and beyond.

He said the trend could be preserved through prayers.

“Let us therefore, come together in the spirit of oneness to fellowship with one another and serve God,” he said.

Dr Tetteh said the crusade intends to bring the country before God in the spirit of humility, love and unity whilst it also enhances the relationship of people with God.

He noted that a nation disunited is like a house divided unto itself.

“We have the unique privilege at this stage of our development to partake in presenting our nation and its people to their Lord at this first ever crusade of the Anglican Church at the Black Star Square, the arena of national celebrations,” he said.

Right Reverend Dr Daniel Sylvanus Mensah Torto, Bishop of Accra Anglican Diocese, called on all people, irrespective of their faith to attend the crusade and pray for Ghana.

Speakers at the crusade will include Mr Demos Shakarian of the full Gospel Businessmen’s Fellowship, Dr Stephen Mwiluki, UK-based Kenya Pastor, Reverend Paul Naughton, Chairman of Benny Hinn Ministries in the UK and Dr Richard Roberts, President of the Oral Roberts Ministries in the UK.
