Little did Mr Tutu Mensah know that the few top-ups or reloads he was doing in December last year could earn him a sleek Suzuki Grand Vitara 2008 model vehicle which was the grand prize of the promotion. Millicom Ghana Limited, at a brief but impressive ceremony in Accra on Friday night presented the keys and documents to the car to the 50 year-old Sunyani based livestock farmer flanked by his wife and some family members amidst dancing and jubilation.

Ipods were also presented to 500 out of the over 2,000,000 subscribers of the network who took part in the promotion. In a comment, Mr. Tutu Mensah said, "I was not at all expecting this surprise from Tigo, indeed my new year has started very well and I have to say thank you to Tigo for allowing me and my family such a wonderful chance to be happy".

He said he used and relied on Tigo mobile network because of its clarity and availability in all parts of the country. He said his feat would convince others to subscribe to the network for better services and returns.
