Accra bourse index falls under pressure from four equities

Accra, Nov. 3, GNA - The GSE All-Share Index, the main measure of performance of the Exchange, fell in trading on Monday by 28.68 points under pressure from four equities to close 10,752.34 points. The change year to date now stands at 62.92 per cent.

On the broader market CAL Bank was down by GHC 0.02 at GHC 0.05; Enterprise Insurance Company fell by GHC 0.03 at GHC 3.25; Ghana Oil Company lost GHC 0.02 at GHC 0.36 and Fan Milk Limited was also down by GHC 0.50 at GHC 4.50.

Shares traded opened the week at 81,800 compared with last week's close of over 1.9 million shares. Market capitalisation was also lower at GHC 18,034.74 from GHC 18,052.91.
