The Chief Executive Officer of Zoomlion Ghana, Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyapong has reiterated his company’s readiness and willingness to transform Accra into the cleanest city.

According to him, Zoomlion Ghana has put in place strategic mechanisms to achieve that goal.

“We have secured a loan of 1billion cedis from Ecobank to establish another bin production plant, we already have one in Accra, we will establish one more in Kumasi and we will produce 800 bins,” he said.

Joseph Siaw Agyapong’s commitment comes at a time where the Nana Addo-led government is poised on making Accra the cleanest city in Africa.

He added that, Zoomlion is ready to partner the Church of Pentecost as well as other churches, civil societies and corporate bodies on its environmental care campaign.

“I believe strongly that we will stop it. Never again will we have more campaigns talking about waste, if all efforts have not yielded results in the past, Zoomlion 2019 will end it all,” he said.

The CEO added that, Zoomlion will establish 150 plastic plants in various districts across the country and the Kumasi liquid waste plant will be completed.

Expressing confidence in Zoomlion, he said “we are going to transform every region, district in innovative ways of solving waste problems”.

Mr. Siaw was optimistic that in 2019, Zoomlion will serve its customers better.
