‘From Gambaga to Accra, from Wiawso to Keta’...this chorus will definitely be echoing all through the year.

Indeed it has been 10 blissful years since the Achimota School Class of 2008 left the Grey City. Through grace and hard work, members of this class are now first-class ladies and gentlemen of the land.

With a planning committee led by Year Group President Mr Fred Buame of KPMG, the class is set to roll out a series of events to commemorate their 10th Anniversary.

The celebrations which promise to be nothing short of spectacular will commence with a networking event dubbed 'The 008 Hangout' at iSpace in Labone on Friday 27th July 2018.

Other events lined up include a career counselling day for current students of the school, a barbecue at the OAA Clubhouse, a records dance night and a donation of a legacy project to the school, and many others.

In what promises to be a roller coaster of fun activities; from cracking old school jokes and sharing fond memories, to sharing time with and inspiring the younger generation of Achimotans, the anniversary celebrations will be one that will leave lasting memories and make old students from other schools, and even Akoras of other year groups watch with envy. For the Achimota School Class of 2008 are a fresh spring of living waters to thirsty lands...with a big swagger.
