Host of Adom FM's "Dwaso Nsem" programme, Adakabre Frimpong-Manso has taken a slight jab at President Mahama, wondering why the sitting president could flawlessly recite the stations’ jingle despite his personal confession that the current challenges facing Ghana, gives him sleepless nights.

President Mahama in an interaction with Senior Editors and Executives of the Ghana Journalists Association last Friday, chided media practitioners for using their medium to set agendas which do not enhance national development.

The president expressed concern about the quality of radio presenting in the country, especially the daily newspaper review segments and political talk-shows which pitch persons against each other, describing it as a lazy format.

President Mahama during his submission to the members stirred a controversy when he subtly indicted Adom FM, for deliberately knocking heads together on their morning show.

Puzzled at the way President Mahama took a direct dig at Adom FM during the forum, Adakabre Frimpong Manso announced on Okay FM’s Ghana Decides afternoon show that he is convinced the work of President Mahama is as simple as reciting ‘A, B and C’ compared to his profession.

He emphatically made it clear that it appears President Mahama churned out lies when he told the nation that he was working tirelessly to solve our problems.

“When I listened to the tape and heard the portion where he recites the Adom FM jingle, I get the impression that he is under no stress as a president. If you take a careful look at the challenges facing Ghana and a president can overlook that and pick a jingle out of the over three hundred radio stations in Ghana, then it deepens the notion that he isn’t doing any hard work,” Adakabre said.
