Mr Asiedu-Gyimah, who announced this at the 95th speech and prize-giving and founders day celebration of the college at Cape Coast, said last year, 12 students were withdrawn for various in disciplinary behaviour, such as wee smoking, molestation, bullying of junior students and gross insubordination. Mr Asiedu-Gyimah called on parents to live-up to their responsibility of ensuring discipline at home and to refrain from giving their wards mobile phones, since students were not allowed to use them in school. The acting Headmaster was not happy about the non-payment of school fees by parents and said it was creating administrative problems as well as making some students to play truant. He advised the parents to pay fees in banker's drafts rather than in cash, since some parents were compelled to pay double fees, because their wards squandered the money given them for the purpose.

The acting Headmaster, suggested that guidance and counselling should be made a full department in all schools to ensure the effective counselling of students. He said it would also enable teachers to "nib all problems in the bud" and suggested that guidance and counselling coordinators should be paid allowances as an incentive.
