Adom Winful Must Be Prosecuted For Mass Murder!!!

In as much as doctors may have a very legitimate reason to embark on a strike action to press home their demands, this time around, the President of the Ghana Medical Association (GMA), Emmanuel Adom Winful, has done irreparable damage to his calling as a doctor and also to the image of the GMA.

The NYC is shocked to the marrow when Adom Winful shamelessly opened his mouth and said that “people die anyway” and so if the doctors’ strike results in deaths, there is nothing wrong with it.

A very callous and heartless Emmanuel Adom Winful did not make the statement in secret; he chose to openly spit in the face of the noble medical profession by making his satanic declaration to the media.

How on earth can a trained medical doctor who has taken his Hippocratic oath, open his mouth and say that people die anyway and so if innocent lives are lost as a result of the strike action, he cannot be bothered.

It is important to note that, Adom Winful’s position as regards people dying, is no different from the “All die be die” reckless statement that was made by NPP Flagbearer Nana Akufo-Addo.

As far as Adom Winful is concerned, the ethics of the medical profession can go the dogs just because he wants more money in his pocket.

As far as Adom Winful is concerned, the money in his pocket is more important than human lives that he was trained to save.

There is no medical textbook, code of ethics or theory that supports the wicked and evil stance of Adom Winful;

The NYC believes that, the tactics adopted by Adom Winful and few of his colleagues amount to a complete blackmail and must be condemned. Indeed Adom Winful has propounded his own wicked theory of “people die anyway”? hence “all die be die” perhaps because he doesn’t value human life or because he happens to be an atheist.

With such a mindset, how can we be assured that Dr. Adom Winful has not killed scores of innocent Ghanaians; and will continue to kill many more Ghanaians even if the vault of the Bank of Ghana is relocated to his house.

With such a mindset, is it not possible that many people have died because Adom Winful does not pay proper attention to his patients because as far as he is concerned, people will die “anyway”?

Never in the history of Ghana’s medical profession, has a doctor made the kind of unacceptable statement that Adom Winful made.

How can Adom Winful convince right-thinking persons that he is not a mass murderer masquerading as a medical doctor?

Indeed, after he has gotten all the money that he wants and called off his strike, how can he continue to have the confidence of patients considering the kind of “all die be die” mentality that he has?

Adom Winful must bow down his head in shame because he has brought a lot of ignominy to the medical profession

The NYC wishes to advice that, Adom Winful and his assigns be prosecuted for murder of innocent lives to bring justice to the families of all deceased within the last ten days at the various hospitals in the country. We would also as matter of urgency advice Adom Winful and the entire leadership of the GMA to resign to protect the image of the GMA, because no matter the extent to which the striking doctors have a legitimate reason, Adom Winful’s heartless and reckless statement has done a lot of harm to the image of the GMA and if the doctors want to claw back some respect, Emmanuel Adom Winful must immediately step down as the President of the Association. We believe that if Adom Winful was operating in some other jurisdiction, his medical licence would have been taken away from him by now. We will therefore advice the appropriate authorities to take steps to seize his license since he cannot be trusted. The image of the noble medical profession has been greatly damaged by Adom Winful’s wicked statement and the earlier members of the GMA wake up and distance themselves from Adom Winful’s mindset, the better it will be for the image of doctors. As for Akufo-Addo’s statement to the effect that he would have handled the issue more “intelligently” the least said about it the better.

For a person who has been reported to wake up to a heavy cloud of wee smoke hanging over his head, it is quite obvious that he cannot be intelligent than His Excellency President John Evans Atta Mills.

The NYC is thanking the doctors who are not on strike, as well as nurses and other paramedics who are still giving medicare and saving lives, for the good work they are doing and we know that the Good Lord will richly bless them. Ghana will not die; Ghana will live to declare the Glory of God!
