Come join us as talented artists from Africa showcase their talent at Harlem’s own African Juke Joint. From soloists, acoustic bands, to spoken word artists, musicians, and more …we bring you the best of notable and undiscovered talent hailing from the motherland.
With African culture infused into today’s Western society… there will ONLY be ONE place, on ONE night that will feature authentic, refreshing, and critically acclaimed African artists on ONE stage.
On Tuesday, July 19th Young African’s will showcase their talent, while you demonstrate your pride and enjoy a night of wonderful and inspiring entertainment.
The Distinguished Tongue Event Series is a derivative of the National Ghana Parade Council’s initiative to bring Africans and those of the Diaspora together for one common goal…African PROGRESS.
As we applaud Africa’s talent we will also culminate the evening with the raising of funds toward the Annual Ghana Parade and the Council’s Kwame Nkrumah Scholarship Fund.
Funds raised will be donated to African students who demonstrate academic excellence and collegiate aspirations.
