African Heads depart

Accra, July 3, GNA - African Heads of State attending the Ninth Ordinary Session of the African Union in Accra continue to depart to their various countries as the historic event draws to a close. Those that have left were President Jakaya Kikwete of Tanzania; President Amando Emilio Gaebaza of Mozambique, President Paul Kagame of Rwanda; President Mwai Kibaki of Kenya and President Iddris Debbie of Chad.

The rest were Presidents Umaro Yar'Adua of Nigeria; Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe; Omar Bongo of Gabon and Cidi Mohamed Abdellahi of Mauritania.
Others were Presidents Pedro Pireriz of Cape Verde; Ahmed Mohamed Sambi of Comoros and Mohamed Abdellaziz of Western Sahara. The rest were President Mac Ravalomanana of Madagascar; Mr. Issatou Njie Vice-President of Gambia, Mohamed Ghanouchi, Prime Minister of Tunisia, Mr Meles Zenawi, Prime Minister of Ethiopia and Jose Socrates, Prime Minister of Portugal.
