Accomplished Nigerian actress Omotola Jalade Ekeinde has chastised African leaders for what she says is their poor communication skills.
According to the Nigerian entrepreneur, most African leaders pretend to be humble and considerate during campaigning, but suddenly change after they win power.
“Bad communication is an African problem. A lot of African leaders do not communicate with the people that voted them, and I think this really needs to change in Africa.
“You need to stop sending people to talk to the people, you really need to stop that nonsense. Because when you were contesting, you were not only talking to them, you were on the ground, you will sit and eat with them, and suddenly you get there and nobody can reach you,” Omotola fumed in an interview with Bola Ray on Starr Chat.
She also advised Nigerians to be supportive of their President Muhammadu Buhari and make his health a subject of controversy.
“His health is not a problem because personally I think people can function if their brain is right, even if their body is weak.
I know he is in process of getting it right and we need to stand by him, Africans need to stand by their leaders, especially if they are in the process of getting it right. I haven’t seen any reason to be against him yet”.
