Agona West NDC congratulates Cynthia Morrison

The Agona West NDC has extended a congratulatory message to Cynthia Morrison following her appointment as Minister designate for Gender, Children and Social Protection by President Akufo-Addo.

Cynthia Morrison is the Member of Parliament for Agona West Constituency replaces Otiko Afisa Djasa who is now Ambassador designate to Italy.

In a press statement, the leadership of the Agona west NDC, Chairman Maxwell Kofi Quist urged the Minister designate to ensure peace reigns between her and the constituency executives in the Agona West Constituency.

“It's our genuine hope and prayer that this appointment helps bridge the seemingly insurmountable gap and to allow sleeping dogs lie between you and your entire Constituency Executives led by Chairman Kojo Addo and not to escalate the already jaundiced relationship existing between the several factions, hitherto loyalists of your camp and several other disillusioned youth groups that has since meant, regrettably, no meaningful development to the good people of Agonaman as was unprecedentedly witnessed under your predecessor; Hon Lawyer Obeng Nkum during H.E John Dramani Mahama of the NDC era.” He said.
