Agradaa's lawyers give updates on the death of Ali Adam

Agyaa Asamani Law Consult, legal representatives of Evangelist Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, popularly known as Nana Agradaa, has clarified that the deceased lawyer, Ali Adam, was not part of the individuals who constituted Agradaa’s legal team.

According to Richard Baffour Asare of Agyaa Asamani Consult, the late Ali Adam, although a lawyer with the firm, was not a member of Agradaa’s legal team.

“It is with great sadness that I confirm the passing of our colleague, Ali Adam, who was a valued member of our law firm. However, I want to emphasise that Ali was not involved in the team that worked on Mama Pat’s case,” Baffour Asare said in a statement reported by adomonline.com on August 31.

According to Baffour Asare, Ali Adam, who was his colleague, unexpectedly died just a few hours after they had spoken on the phone.

He recalled that the late lawyer had called around 8:00 am to share the good news that some interns from the firm had passed their final exams and would soon be called to the bar.

The two then agreed to meet at 10 am to review documents, but news reached Baffour Asare shortly after the phone call of the passing of lawyer Ali Adam.

According to Baffour Asare, lawyer Ali Adam collapsed while having breakfast and was pronounced dead on arrival at a hospital.

Nana Agradaa is currently serving a 15-year sentence for charges including defrauding by false pretenses and charlatanic advertisement.

Initial reports over the weekend indicated that Ali Adam, who had been reported dead, was a lawyer for Agradaa.
