Thomas Agyepong and defender Jonathan Mensah were taken through separate training sessions on Monday, ahead of the crucial last Group F game between the Black Stars of Ghana and the “Wild Dogs” of Guinea Bissau at the Suez Stadium on Tuesday.
Agyepong, played in the first game against Benin and got injured in the first half and had to stay off for one week.
Mensah on the other hand, took a knock in the game against Cameroon, but was able to pass fitness test on Monday.
The separate training was to enable the technical team monitor the players well after their return from injury.
Information gathered by the GNA Sports indicates that, Mensah was able to pass the fitness test and would be available for selection against Guinea Bissau.
