Supporters of Asante Kotoko have named defender Ahmed Adams as the club's Player of the Month for June.
The stalwart defender was ever-present for the Porcupine Warriors in June, where they closed the gap on the Ghana Premier League standings to eight points after accumulating eight points from a possible twelve.
The former Berekum Chelsea guardsman was impressive in the club's President's Cup triumph over sworn rivals Hearts of Oak on Monday before being substituted in the second half with a suspected injury.
If passed fit, Adams will be expected to play an integral role for the club when they host Medeama SC in week 21 on Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Adams becomes the third player to win the award after fleeted-footed winger Emmanuel Gyamfi and goalkeeper Felix Annan.
