Hearts of Oak playmaker Winful Cobbinah says there is no resentment towards striker Ahmed Toure ditched them to join bitter rivals Asante Kotoko.

The Ivorian trained with Hearts and played for then against Heart of Lions in the GHALCA Top 4 tournament.

But the former Ghana Premier League Most Valuable Player snuck to sign for his former side when Hearts were delaying with a deal. Cobbinah says no one in the club is bitter towards Toure over his decision to sign for Kotoko.

“To us Accra Hearts of oak is the biggest brand of football in Ghana and his decision to move elsewhere has been accepted,” Cobbinah said.

“I can tell you that no one is complaining that he joined another club we believe in ourselves and we sure that we can achieve great stuff this season.”
