Former NDC national organizer Joshua Hamidu Akamba has launched a door-to-door campaign in the Okaikoi South Constituency, urging residents to vote for John Dramani Mahama and the party's parliamentary candidate in the upcoming elections.

Akamba highlighted the country's dire state under the NPP government, emphasizing the need for a change in leadership.

During his interactions with residents, shop owners, and traders, he emphasized the economic challenges facing the nation, including rampant corruption with Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia at its epicenter.

He expressed excitement about the campaign, stating that this is where real politics happens, and he is eager to connect with the people and listen to their concerns.

Akamba lamented that Bawumia's laziness and ineptitude have led to the collapse of numerous Ghanaian businesses, resulting in millions of job losses and a staggeringly high unemployment rate among the youth.

He emphasized that the NPP's mismanagement has left the country in shambles, with the economy in a precarious state.

The door-to-door campaign is part of the NDC's strategy to reach out to voters and mobilize support for the party's flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama.

Akamba warned the Electoral Commission and President Nana Addo against any attempts to impose Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia on Ghanaians, stating that the NDC will not sit idly by and allow such manipulation.

Residents and traders in the constituency expressed their support for Akamba's message, pledging to vote for John Dramani Mahama and the parliamentary candidate.

The Women's Organizer of the Constituency thanked Akamba for his support, stating that his experience and expertise will be invaluable in their campaign to win the hearts and minds of their people.

The door-to-door campaign is expected to run for several weeks, with Akamba and other party activists engaging with voters in the constituency.
