Mary Yawa Aforla, the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG) Parliamentary Aspirant for Akan Constituency, has urged the electorates to massively vote for a change for rapid development in the Constituency.

She promised to support the local economy by lobbying for the establishment of ginger factory in the Constituency which was a ginger hub.

Aforla, disclosed this to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) during an interview at Kadjebi in the Oti Region.

The aspiring MP said she would support vulnerable groups, especially single parents, and girls, who dropped out of school in apprenticeship skills to be economically independent and contribute to the local economy.

The 42-year-old teacher said she would lobby for the construction of a six-unit classroom block for the Awudome Kofe D/A Primary School which pupils currently study under a dilapidated thatch roofed structure.

She said she would also lobby for the expansion of the Kadjebi town Water System which currently could not care for the town’s overgrown population.

Aforla, who is contesting the Seat for the first time, pledged to bring unmatched development projects to the constituency when voted as MP come December 7.
