The chairman of the Akatsi North New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Simon Salansa Doe, has donated a 2-acre building plot of land to his party for the construction of an office complex.

Mr. Salansa Doe made this donation to the executives of the party at Ave-Dakpa, the Akatsi North District capital in the Volta Region of Ghana on Tuesday, December 31, 2013.

He appealed to both the old and new executives to bury all differences and work for the common good of the party indicating, "As for me, I pledge to always work for the NPP till I die. My target is to increase significantly the number of votes the party gets from this side of our region" but was quick to add that, "There is no way this can be achieved without your support; help me and with God, I believe victory shall be ours".

He then used the opportunity to officially release the land at Ave-Dakpa to the party for the building of the office accommodation, assuring that, "By the close of 2014, we should have our own office complex where we can hold our meetings and congresses.
