Godwin Ako Gunn, one of the persons jailed for threatening the lives of Supreme Court judges, shares his prison cell with Dr Alexander Tweneboah, a former Boss of Ghana Real Estates Developers Association (GREDA).

Dr. Tweneboah is serving two years' jail term at the Nsawam Prison for his involvement in SIM Box fraud.

He was arrested at his residence at Baatsona, Manet area, on January 2015, where several items, including one SIM Box with 64-slot SIM server, 4G Internet Modem, a laptop computer and a mini antenna which was used to facilitate electronic communication service without license and possession of illegal device.

They were each fined Ghs10,000 additionally.

Days after their incarceration, leaders of the NDC, including Deputy General Secretary Koku Anyidoho and Deputy Communications Director Kwaku Boahene, paid a visit to the trio in prison to sympathise with them.

"They are good condition and we were happy to see them," Kwaku Boahene told Kaayire Ofori Ayim, AM Drive on Atinka FM, Tuesday, August 2, 2016.

Boahene is hopeful President John Mahama will listen to the pleas from various sections of the society including Ga chiefs, for him to invoke Article 72 of the constitution and grant them clemency.

He said the party still stands by the position that the sentencing was harsh, hence the push for presidential pardon.
