Failed flag bearer aspirant of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP) says she is not aggrieved that the Progressive People’s Party (PPP) retrieved the Toyota Tundra it offered her during the election campaign last year.

Speaking in an interview with Peace FM on Wednesday, Madam Akua Donkor disclosed that she had purchased a brand new Toyota Corolla, which in her opinion, is more expensive than the Tundra she received from the PPP.

“My car number is AS 1919-11; a strong Toyota Corolla I bought with my own money," she said, insisting she had no bad intentions of keeping the Tundra.

Madam Akua Donkor temporarily shifted camp to the PPP after she was disqualified by the Electoral Commission (EC) as presidential candidate of the GFP.

Consequently, she was offered a brand new Toyota Tundra by the presidential candidate of the PPP - Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom - to enable her to interact with party supporters across the country.
There was lots of controversy when the party demanded Akua Donkor return the Tundra after the elections. It took the intervention of the police for the party to reclaim the vehicle.
Akua Donkor further seized the chance to call on government to institute measures to address the economic hardships, to make life bearable for the citizenry.
