Akuba Limited Donates Furniture To NUGS

Accra (GAR), June 26, - Akuaba Ghana Limited today donated a set of furniture worth 5.1 million cedis to the National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) at a ceremony in Accra. The donation was in response to an appeal made by NUGS to the company. Mr Emmanuel Kwaku Duah, General Manager of Akuaba, noted that private organizations do not exist only to make profit but also assist individuals and organizations whose existence is crucial to s He said Akuaba has for a long time been associated with the production of toys but the company has since 1989 switched to the making of furniture. Mr Haruna Iddrisu, President of NUGS, thanked the company and asked other organizations to emulate it.
