Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, two time Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), on Wednesday appealed to delegates who would be participating in the Party's upcoming special delegate conference to vote for him.
According to Nana Akufo-Addo, he is the best candidate among the six contenders to lead the party to win power in the 2016 General election and urged the delegates to vote for him
Nana Akufo-Addo made the call on Wednesday when he and Dr. Mahamdu Bawumia and some Members of Parliament of the NPP met 54 delegates and constituency executives of the party from the 26 constituencies in the Western Region at Tarkwa.
Nana Akufo-Addo debunked the allegation that he is not fit to rule the country when given the nod, saying that he was strong and prepared to work and improve the current state of the economy.
He said the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Better Ghana Agenda has flopped and assured that NPP have competent men and women who can give Ghanaians the first class government.
Dr. Bawumia asked the delegates to vote for a candidate who has experience to win votes for the party and not new candidates in the political system.
The Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Mr. Kenndy Ohene Agyapong, urged delegates not to allow themselves to be influenced with money.
