President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is calling for stronger partnerships and the utilization of shared strengths between Africa and the Arab world to tackle complex challenges such as economic uncertainties, geopolitical tensions, climate change impacts, and the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

According to a report by Citinewsroom.com, the president made the remarks at the 50th Anniversary celebration of BADEA and the inauguration of the Arab-Africa Financial Consortium in Accra.

He highlighted the need to invest in human capital, focusing on education and skill development.

"We are investing in human capital, unlocking the potential of our people, and driving sustainable growth through education and skills development. BADEA has significantly contributed to supporting numerous education and training programs across Africa, and we will continue to build on this progress," he noted.

President Akufo-Addo stressed the need for concerted efforts to ensure access to quality education for every child in Africa and the Arab world. He underscored the importance of investing in vocational training and higher education to equip individuals with the necessary skills for the 21st-century economy.

"We will redouble our efforts to ensure every child in Africa and the Arab world has access to quality education. We will also invest in vocational training and higher education to equip our people with the skills needed to thrive in the 21st-century economy," he stated.

The call for stronger Africa-Arab partnerships is a crucial step towards addressing the complex challenges facing the two regions.
