The National Democratic Congress' Koku Anyidoho says President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has proven to Ghanaians that he is not ready for the position he is occupying now.
According to him, attempts by the Nana Addo-led government to eradicate galamsey is unfortunate – this he said will increase the unemployment rate in the country.
The President has vowed to stop illegal miners from operating - he was noted to have said that, if that will cause him his presidency after his four-year term, he will do that to save the country's water bodies.
But the NDC deputy Chief Scribe on NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’ indicated that President Nana Addo is indeed not ready for the presidency.
“He [President Nana Addo] has already said he careless if they vote him out because of galamsey issues. I am not surprised. Nana Addo does not need eight years, he doesn’t even need four years. He just wanted to taste the presidency and he has,” he said.
“Give him just one year the amount of money that he will amass for himself, friends and family you have no idea,” Koku lamented.
