Akufo-Addo endorses Bawumia as Ghana's best vice president ever

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has extolled the virtues of Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, proclaiming him the finest Vice President in Ghana's history.

Since assuming office with President Akufo-Addo in 2017, Dr. Bawumia has successfully implemented pivotal policies and initiatives that have propelled the nation's progress.

At an event in Kumasi on Tuesday, where Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh was introduced as Dr. Bawumia's running mate, President Akufo-Addo voiced his complete trust in the vice president's abilities and leadership qualities.

The president commended Dr. Bawumia for his unwavering dedication, integrity, and commitment to the service of Ghana.

He underscored the vice president's relentless work in promoting the government's agenda and his crucial contribution to policy development and implementation.

President Nana Akufo-Addo also expressed confidence in the Bawumia-NAPO ticket, while the party's flagbearer justified his choice of the current Manhyia South Member of Parliament and Minister for Energy as his running mate.

Various speakers, including the party's national and regional officers and former flagbearer contenders, spoke at the event. They also expressed confidence in the party's ability to win the upcoming election, especially against the main opposition, the National Democratic Congress.

President Akufo-Addo called on Ghanaians to rally behind Dr. Bawumia in his bid to become the nation's next president.
