Former Ashanti Regional Deputy Minister Joseph Yamin, claims President Nana Akufo-Addo and his NPP government have insulted the intelligence of Ghanaians by cutting down nursing trainees intake to 60%.
The Ministry of Health recently released a statement ordering public nursing trainee centres across the country to cut down their intake to 60%.
Commenting on the new directive by the government on Abusua News, Yamin said the directive is just to swerve the NPP’s trainees allowance restoration they promised the people of Ghana during the campaign season.
He says the cut down by the government will only bring pressure on gaining admission into nursing training college; a situation he says would raise the issue of protocol.
According to him, NDC foresaw the NPP bring back the quota system and advised Ghanaians to be wary of them hence the ill treatment given people who queued to cast their votes for the NPP party.
Yamin said the market women, students, galamseyers who voted for Nana Addo have all regretted doing so.
He however accused the NPP government of abandoning all projects the NDC started.
The former NADMO Director concluded saying John Mahama and the NDC are ready to unseat the NPP in 2020 to redirect the affairs of the country.
