Anita Desoso, National Vice Chairperson of NDC
A Vice Chairperson of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Anita Desoso, has claimed that President Akufo-Addo knows something about the road accidents in Ghana.
According to a report by MyNewsGH, the NDC executive, speaking on Bohye FM in Kumasi, stated that the president had done something behind the scenes to cause accidents in Ghana.
In her opinion, the president directly benefits from all the accidents that occur in the country.
“Only two months, 2095 people. Why do you drink blood like that?”, she questioned.
Her argument, is however in contrast with that of the Central Regional Chairman of the party, Bernard Allotey Jacobs, who recommended mental checkups for drivers.
To him, most fatal accidents in the country are caused by the indiscretion of drivers, majority of which he suspects, have mental problems.
Their comments come amid the increasing rate of road accidents in Ghana in recent times.
