The Concerned Youth of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) at Ada East District has called on the president to demobilize the activities of the invisible forces; a private security group operating in the name of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
In a press statement signed and issued by its General Secretary, Dornu Nartey, and president, Dogah Ben, the group expressed their displeasure to what they described as shameful and reckless actions of the ‘so-called’ Invisible Forces in relation to the election of the District Chief Executive (DCE) on 3rd November 2017.
They pleaded with the president to commit to addressing the violence and lawlessness carried out by the ‘invisible forces’ adding that such “undignified” acts must not be allowed to continue in the country.

H.E NANA ADDO MUST CALL INVISIBLE FORCES TO ORDER- ADA YOUTH
We the concerned youth of New Patriotic Party (NPP) at Ada East District have observed with worries and displeasure to the shameful and reckless actions of the so-called Invisible Forces in relation to the election of the District Chief Executive (DCE) on 3rd November, 2017.
It was a disgrace to the Party and the people of Ada, which had equally tarnished the image of H.E Nana Addo’s administration. In an attempt to engage in electoral malpractices, these macho men invaded the auditorium started beating the Assemblymen. They snatched the ballot box before the full glare of the Assembly members and the town folks.
These macho men had not only bullied and arrogantly disrespected the assembly members, presiding members but some constituency executives at the scene. We were also highly disappointed in the police for not making any attempt to arrest any of those perpetrators. If within the microscopic ceramics and cadence of Ada, the police who are supposed to be the law enforcers of democratic ethics and ethos in their respective terra firma, cannot discharge their duties, then we can say our safety is at stake.
We want to say that, what transpired at Ada East District Assembly on 3rd November was sardonic, lugubrious, ferocious, affront to democracy, a political bugaboo which must be pooh-poohed by all cosmopolitan homo sapiens. We are calling on party leadership to call those macho men to order because our great party had been mercilessly lampooned for these abysmal and absurd behaviours. These men are making Nana Addo’s government unpopular.
On this note, we demand urgent apology from whosoever brought those men to the Assembly and the constituency executives for gross displace of barbaric, ungodly and undemocratic actions which has no room in the District. We are urging the regional and national executives to conduct immediate investigations into the snatch of the ballot box, beating of the assembly members, the person who brought those men to the Assembly, who changed the ballot box when the macho men took box away? The perpetrators must be brought to book.
We can't toiled to gather votes for the party and people will be making the government unpopular. No!!! If the party executives fail to do the above, we the aggrieved youth of NPP at Ada, shall fold our hands, sit in our home and shall see who would go around the constituency to campaign in 2020.
Awake Okorli Awake Dangmeli Awake NPP
