Akufo Addo’s team predicts blood-bath on Saturday

Afoko Greeting Akufo Addo

A confidential document prepared at the behest of twice-defeated NPP presidential candidate, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo (NADAA) summarizing the key findings of an intensive three-month period of research and analysis of the various dynamics at play in the objective to make him the President of Ghana after the 2016 elections has been intercepted by the DAILY POST.

The document details what must be done for Akufo- Addo to win the 2016 elections starting from the congress this Saturday, the names of those within and without the party who are stumbling blocks to this ambition, as well as how to neutralize them.

The contents of the documents also reveal that Akufo-Addo and his henchmen master-minded the Tuesday, August 19, 2014 bloody attack on the NPP party headquarters by thugs wielding knives, machetes and guns. The thugs disrupted a press conference being held by the National Chairman of the party, Paul Afoko and the General Secretary, Kwabena Agyapong. The document reads in part;

“The efforts made to stop Paul Afoko and Kwabena Agyepong from removing or incapacitating key functionaries of the party who are vital to maintaining absolute control of the party by NADAA have also proved decisive, albeit with some failures, as they have been portrayed as spoilers and enemies of the progress of the NPP. The efforts need to be intensified to ensure that no loose ends are left for these two gentlemen to exploit to disrupt our objectives. The no-holds-barred methods employed (the clash at the party headquarters, the mobilization of party communicators, MPs, influential persons and key regional executives) to stop Afoko and Kwabena Agyepong in their tracks inevitably occasioned a few difficulties which could be exploited by our opponents (NDC) to paint a picture of disunity and confusion to ward off potential floating voters”

The document then went on to explain the importance of distancing Akufo-Addo from the violence he and the henchmen masterminded. It reads;

“It is important that as these and other methods discussed elsewhere are used to checkmate these two gentlemen, everything is done to distance NADAA or any of his close associates from these happenings in order to ensure plausible deniability as the NDC propaganda machinery will not spare any opportunity to point to them as evidence of NADAA’s penchant for violence. They did this to devastating effect in the 2012 elections. Where necessary, swift condemnations must be issued as was done in the Bugri Naabu case while privately engaging the affected persons in order not to demotivate them from further working for our course. There must NEVER be an occasion where NADAA is put in a position to comment about such happenings. His last two interventions on the declaration of support for him by MPs and the display of votes by prominent supporters was capitalized upon by some members of the NDC communication team and Alan Kyeremanteng supporters who tried to present him as a condoner of wrong doing and a weak leader. At best, members of his team could speak and rationalize the issues.”

The Research & Strategy team then went on to state that based on intel picked up, weapons have been mobilised to be used by elements loyal to Paul Afoko at congress this Saturday in reprisal attacks against members of Akufo-Addo’s inner circle. The document reads;

“Available intel shows that the agenda 2020 group is planning reprisal attacks and schemes on NADAA supporters for what they perceive to be the humiliation they suffered during the abortive press conference of August 19th. Such notable NADAA supporters and operatives as Hajia Fati, Titus Glover, Gabby Otchere Darko and Captains Koda have been earmarked for attacks. Paul Afoko is particularly bitter about Gabby because of the 2007 incident involving him and Gabby and sees this as payback time”

The document also stated that “Paul Afoko’s reputation as a vote buyer needs to be resurrected with loud allegations on the morning of voting to permanently discredit him after the elections.”

In tomorrow’s issue, the DAILY POST will bring to readers, what according to the document, must be done to such persons as Former President Kufuor, The Asantehene Otumfuor Osei Tutu II, Richard Anane, Kwabena Agyepong, Kwadwo Mpiani, Addai Nimo, Nana Ohene Ntow and Hilda Addo who are all seen as part of Alan Kyeremanteng’s so-called ‘AGENDA 2020’ to neutralize them to enable Akufo-Addo win the 2016 election.
