President Akufo-Addo is expected in the Ashanti Regional capital on July 16 to launch the Kumasi Road Facelift Project.
Government is expected to construct four new interchanges in Kumasi to help ease the growing traffic congestion in the metropolis.
Road networks in the Ashanti region are in deplorable conditions, and residents have complained of neglect, as traffic congestion affects socio-economic activities in areas such as Atonsu, Tafo and Suame.

I wish at this point to give you my assurance that by a year from this time, there will be significant improvement in the road network in the region,” the minister said.
