Edmund Kyei has asked Ghanaian youths to remain calm as job creation remains a priority on government's list of myriad projects.

The Kumasi based NPP communicator in a phone interview with Asempanews.com revealed that the incumbent government came to meet empty coffers from the opposition NDC which has caused a major setback in their efforts to move Ghana forward at the pace they desire, but they are working hard to slash the high unemployment rates currently recorded in the nation significantly.

Mr Kyei said Akufo-Addo would not renege on his campaign promises, as he is doing everything in his power to address the prevailing economic challenges, to make life bearable for the citizenry, particularly the youth.

Under Akufo-Addo’s leadership, Edmund Kyei believes corruption and nepotism, which he said, had eaten into the Mahama-led government, will be curtailed to ensure people get fair placement once they possess correct certification for whatever discipline they are trained.

“Nana Akufo-Addo promised to make Ghana work again by creating more jobs to clear the backlog of unemployed the NDC has created over the years and I am confident he will deliver on this promised,” he observed.

He thus enjoined unemployed graduates to be patient and back down on the many protests because unemployment will soon be a thing of the past, as government has projects up its sleeves to create more jobs to absorb the masses that are currently unemployed.
