Greater Accra Regional Campaign Coordinator of the governing NDC, Sylvester Mensah has described the late District Chief Executive of the Kpone Katamanso District, Alhaji Antiaye Tetteh as an irreplaceable elder in the party.
Recalling days when he worked with the former DCE, Mr. Mensah said Alhaji Tetteh was a calm person who had a ‘no nonsense’ attitude.
“For the Ningo-Prampram, Kpone Katamanso, Sege, Ada areas, he has been our lead person when it comes to solving challenges that normally arise in our normal party activities and we are deeply touched by his demise is a vacuum that cannot be created…” he added
The DCE for the Kpone Katamanso district Assembly died aged 72.
Alhaji Tetteh’s third wife, Hajia Aisha Antiaye, indicated that the late DCE who had been battling with diabetes was rushed to the 37 military hospital after he took ill on Saturday but succumbed to death Tuesday mid-morning.
Alhaji Tetteh was buried on Wednesday after several family and friends, together with NDC executives mourned his passing at his residence in the Kpone Katamanso District.
He served as the party’s regional chairman in the year 2000.
