A group calling itself friends of Kufour in the Central Region has reacted to the agitations by the Ga “Dangme youth and the Osu Traditional Council for Ex- president Kufour to vacate an office complex he is said to have acquired and demands for the return of Ga lands.

According to the group Mr. John Agyekum Kufour is an unrivalled personality in history of the nation. His legacy as Africa's most tolerant and accomplished peace- builder, not only in sub- region of west Africa but also in Africa as a whole.

Speaking to the press the Chairman of the group Kwaku Ejaku  said “Once we agreed to live in a country called Ghana and see ourselves as Ghanaians whatever is on or inside the land belongs to all of us. If it gets to a point where others are making Vehement claims to the point of evening banishing others from their lands then you are telling us that we can also go back and take another look at the situation.

He said Mr. Kufour is Ghana’s most successful President who has reconstructed Ghana’s moribund economy, impotent structure, stuned infrastructure and development programmes. No wonder that exhibition of diplomacy his sense of good governance benchmarks paid off, pushed Ghana’s economy to its best.

All this achievements were made in the name of peace and reconciliation. He also brought into the office of the president profound dignity, giving Africa and Ghana for that matter, a platform of International community. He is the wisest leader, who avoided conflict and closed his ears to, provocation statement that were aimed at destroying his vision.

Mr. Ejaku said if the youth of Ga- Dangme are bring ethnicity into the governance of Ghana then they will advice themselves. They said if former President Kufour is being asked to vacate and give them their lands then they will advice themselves Other than that we in the Central Region will also claim ownership of our contributions to the nation’s growth.

He cautioned the Ga –Dangme youth to be very careful and be aware that they don’t produce any of Ghana’s valued raw materials all raw materials  come from other regions so if they also claim ownership, it will not be a good story for this country.

He stressed that Ghanaians should know that Mr. John Agyekum Kufour deserve all the Glory and Honour of the land of Ghana. Long live Kuffour, long live Ghana. Long live democracy and political tolerance.
