Lt Colonel Larry Gbevlo-Lartey, one of the five persons who were interrogated in connection with an alleged coup plot has been transferred to the Army Headquarters at Burma Camp.
According to The Independent, it’s checks indicated that Lt Col Gbevlo-Lartey who until recently was a Lecturer/Directing Staff at the Ghana Armed Forces Senior Staff College, Teshie, has now been transferred to the Legal Department of the Ghana Army.
Reports say his transfer letter stated that he is on attachment to the Army headquarters and took effect from August 5, the very day the Independent reported that he and five others have been picked up by security agents for interrogation in connection with a suspected coup plot.
Lt Col Gbevlo-Lartey is said to have reported to his new post at Burma Camp.
