Two third-year intermediate students of the Tamale Technical University who gruesomely murdered a Tamale-based pastor, Ocran Ebenezer 64 of the End Time Believers Fellowship church by stabbing and clubbing him to death at his home, are expected to make an appearance before court today November 13, 2017.
Dodjie Kwame 28 and Akwesi Abio according to police sources, will be provisionally charged with two counts of murder contrary to section 46 of the criminal code and other offences act of 1960, Act 29 as well as conspiracy to commit crime to wit murder: contrary to section 23(1) and 46 of the criminal and other offences act 1960 (Act 29).
The two Electrical Engineering students who hail from Kpandai in the Northern Region, were arrested last Saturday following a complaint made by one Ben Asamoah a member of the church who visited the pastor at his residence in Kumbuyili in Tamale after he failed to attend a programme only to see him lying in a pool of blood in his kitchen with knife wounds.
According to ACP Patrick Adusei Sarpong, the Northern Regional police Commander, the police earlier received a call from a straighter at the industrial area in Tamale over a 2005 model Toyota Highlander with registration number GN 1764-14 which was brought to him by two guys for sale on Friday at the cost of GH¢ 15,000
He said the informant suspected the boys after spotting blood stains on a fifty Ghana Cedis note which the two killers gave to him to buy fuel and test the car.
ACP further stated the police acted on the information from the complainant and the informant and upon investigation the two students were arrested on Saturday by the police.

The body of the deceased has since been deposited at the tamale Teaching Hospital Morgue pending autopsy.
