Allotey Jacob Blast NPP

The Central Regional National Democratic Congress (NDC) communications Director, Mr. Allotey Jacobs described the opposition NPP as visionless and unfortunate political movement which refuses to learn from its mistakes.

He stated that, the NPP wants Ghanaians to believe that they are better political party than any other one. In light of that, nobody has the right to rule this country so far as they are concerned.

“They would like to use whatever means to ensure this country is ungovernable, to enable them take over and loot as usual. And this is exactly what is going on in the country immediately they lost the elections”, he noted.

In an interview with the Al-Hajj in Accra, the vociferous communications Director stated that following the series of NPP events, the party instead, kept on deceiving its youth.

This, he prophesized that one day when the youth get fed up with the deceit, they would attack them. He expects the NPP leadership to tell their supporters that they did not really win the 2012 elections. So that together they could have a sober reflection and think of election 2016, he advised.

Mr. Allotey Jacob expressed dissatisfaction about Nana Akomea and the NPP statement allegedly calling on the Africa Union (AU) led by the Benin President Dr. Yayi Boni to stop interfering in Ghana’s political affairs and think of themselves. The communications Director said because it was against them (NPP), AU chairman is interfering in Ghana’s affairs.

In view of that, he asked when the (NPP) lobbied the AU chairmanship for Ex- President Agyekum to be AU chair did not go to other countries where successful elections were held to speak and commend the people.

The NPP were unhappy when the Africa Union (AU) chairman, President Yayi Boni congratulated President John Dramani Mahama and the Electoral Commission (EC) and the people of Ghana for the successful elections at the swearing in ceremony.

The opposition New Patriotic Party is in the court contesting the out come of the 2012 elections. The Electoral Commission declared the presidential candidate and the NDC as the winner of December 2012 elections.
