‘Alpha Hour’ pastor commissions school block, provides water for Manhean community

The Founder and Leader of Grace Mountain Church and the Alpha Hour Prayer ministry has amplified his impact beyond his pastoral duties by constructing a school block for the Manhean Methodist Basic School in Ablekuma in the Greater Accra Region.

He has also provided potable water for residents in the community.

This was shared in a recent TikTok post by a blogger, Songs and Proverbs, who stated, "As part of his birthday celebration, Pastor Agyemang Elvis has commissioned an ultra-modern classroom block and provided a potable water source for the Ablekuma township-Manhean."

In a video accompanying the post, students of the school were seen fetching water from polytanks provided by him, while Lady Mercy Agyemang, his wife, delivered a speech during the ceremony to inaugurate the facility.

This gesture adds to a number of charitable acts by the pastor.

On October 21, 2024, he also donated GH₵ 1.12 million to support the businesses of the poor and needy within his congregation.

Pastor Agyemang, who is famed for his midnight prayers on social media platforms, has reiterated that no donations from church members go to his personal use; instead, all funds accumulated by the church are directed to accounts benefiting the needy in society.
