Ama McBrown dedicates award to Maame Dokono, Grace Nortey

Actress Nana Ama McBrown won the most sort after "Favorite Actress" award at the just ended Ghana Movie Awards 2016.

Nana Ama who was overwhelmed when her name was announced as winner, gave an emotional acceptance speech, after she received the award and dedicated it two of her lifetime mentors.

The "Madam Mock" actress dedicated the award to two veteran movie divas Madam Grace Omaboe aka Maame Dokono and Madam Grace Nortey.

According McBrown, the two veteran actresses have being her mentors from when she started acting till now. She said they really inspired her and they were the reason why she went into acting.

Nana Ama invited Madam Grace Omaboe who was present at the event to join her on stage and she expressed how she has inspired her. She added that she wished Madam Grace Nortey was also present to share the moment with both of them on stage.

She urged the current movie stars and stakeholders in the movie industry to honor and celebrate veterans like Grace Omaboe and Grace Nortey and learn from them. She also dedicated the same award to her husband Maxwell Mensah.
