The woman at the centre of the corruption investigations against Road Transport Minister, Dr. Richard Anane arrives in Ghana next Wednesday to give evidence to the Human Right Commission.

CHRAJ says Alexandra O?Brien has agreed to testify and provide evidence to back the allegations she has made against Dr. Anane.

The Commission?s lawyer, Dr. Philip Bondzie-Simpson told the hearing today (Wednesday) that the necessary arrangements have been made for Ms. O?Brien to come to Ghana and tell her side of the story.

Dr. Bondzie-Simpson said the Commission has contacted Ms. O?Brien and is facilitating her arrival in the country for questioning in the case against the Minister.

According to him, even if Ms. O?Brien is unable to come to Ghana as scheduled, arrangements would be made to enable her testify via video conferencing.

Ms. O?Brien is the star witness in the case against Dr. Anane.

She has accused the Minister of corruption and abuse of office.

JOYNEWS correspondent at the hearing reports that Dr. Anane?s lawyers say they are ready for Ms O?Brien who they describe as a brilliant woman.

The lawyers say the controversial American woman has a lot of questions to answer when she testifies before the commission.

Alexandra O?Brien?s examination and cross-examination is expected to last three days.
