Anas Exposé: Tamale Mayor’s name pops up

Mohammed Hafiz Abdullah, the Dema Naa of Tamale has disclosed that he took the ‘investor’ who turned out to be a member of Tiger PI crew to the Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE) of Tamale, Iddrisu Musah.

Addressing journalists at the Tamale Sports Stadium, he said “we believed in a brother who had come to the northern region. I took him to Gushiegu before he came in and told us that he was an investor. He even told me he wanted to help football in the northern region as well. I even took Ahmed to the mayor’s office because he had told us that he wanted to build a mall and everything and that he was a big investor from Dubai. He turned out to be a fraud himself”.

Mohammed Hafiz does not really seem bothered about what goes on at the Ghana Football Association, as he is endorsing efforts to root out corruption at the GFA.

His worry is however borne from the fact that they offered to help a brother locate potential investments areas in the Northern Region only for him to turn round and deal them a devastating blow.

Meanwhile, Hafiz is challenging Anas to admit or otherwise claims that he allegedly defrauded $50,000 from him to drop investigations about him in relation to a gold scam.

“Till date, he has not denied or admitted he took the money from me or not. I want him to tell everyone”, he dared.
