Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of former Ghana Premier League side New Edubiase United, Abdul Salam Yakubu says he is no longer interest in football as a club administrator following the poor administration by the Normalization Committee.
According to the football arbiter, Anas Aremeyaw Anas investigative documentary has negatively cost football in the part of West African a lot, killing the interest of stakeholders. Over seven months after the airing of the piece, football is at a decline especially following the introduction of the Normalization Committee who has been tasked to bring football back to normalcy.
"Anas expose has brought no good to Ghana football but rather destroyed it. Football is dying in this country gradually. Right now, I have got little interest in managing football", he told Light FM
The club administrator stated that the amount of money paid to the committee members monthly is the brain behind the much-awaited but having seen roadmap to football in Ghana.
"The Normalization Committee has no intention of bringing back football because the amount they are taking is huge. If they are granted the 3 months extension, they wouldn't do anything".
"The law of Karma is what has occurred in the football fraternity", he added.
The four-member committee formed by FIFA/CAF with a mandate of bringing back football and organising election for new GFA Executive Members has their tenure extended by Fifa.
