Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, Hon Kennedy Agyapong, will today honour his word by publicly screening the video dubbed: "WHO WATCHES THE WATCHMAN" that captures ace investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas receiving bribes.
The video, which he says is his own version of secret recordings of how Anas operates undercover, captures the journalist receiving an amount of $100,000 as bribe to blackmail people caught on tape in very compromising situations.
‘WHO WATCHES THE WATCHMAN’ will be premiered on a giant screen on Wednesday, June 27 at the forecourt of Oman FM, at Madina in Accra.
But Kweku Baako, who has had the opportunity to watch excerpts of ‘who watches the watchman’ video, said “Anas will stand tall after this”.
Contributing to a panel discussion on Peace FM's morning show ‘Kokrokoo’, Wednesday, Editor-in-Chief of the New Crusading Guide newspaper reiterated the fact that he can put his head on the line and vouch for the character and person of Anas.
“I know the person and the character and I can tell you, he will stand tall,” (after the premiere of the exposé).
Kweku Baako, however, stressed that he has "nothing against the screening of the video" since he believes "after watching it, Ghanaians can draw their own conclusions".
