Franklin Dorledzi, son of Ghanaian politician, Anita Desosoo, has launched a scathing attack on Jerry John Rawlings and his wife, Nana Konadu.

According to a report by MyNewsGH.com, Franklin described the former first couple as crooks.

This, YEN.com.gh understands, is in response to a verbal attack on Anita Desosoo the former president.

Former President Rawlings is reported to have first referred to Desosoo as a crook during the celebration of the 39th anniversary of the June 4 revolution this year.

This did not go down well with Franklin who responded in a similar manner. According to him, Rawlings took $5 million from former Nigerian president, Sani Abacha.

He went ahead to say that Former President Rawlings sold the Nsawam Cannery to his wife and therefore has no right to call his mother a crook.

Rawlings has however expressed regrets about the fact that he was unable to tell Anita Desosoo her deeds as she knelt before him to apologize on behalf of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
