Ghana's rich cultural heritage was once again on full display at the 2024 Hogbetsotso Za festival held on Saturday, November 2, 2024, in Keta, Volta Region.

The grand durbar showcased the vibrant culture of the Anlo people, along with those of the various tribes represented at the event. Almost every tribal group in Ghana participated, coming together to celebrate with the Anlo State.

This year’s celebration, themed "Strengthening Bonds and Embracing Our Shared Heritage," drew numerous notable figures, including President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, government officials, and Members of Parliament, who attended to honour the occasion.

The event was also graced by the overlord of Anlo, the Awomefia, Togbe Sri III; the Paramount Chief of the Oguaa Traditional Area, Osabarimba Kwesi Atta II; and a host of other traditional rulers, with representation from almost every paramount chief in the country.

The political landscape was equally represented, with the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in attendance, led by its vice-presidential candidate, Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, among others.

The drumming, singing, and dance performances were a sight to behold.
